Sweet Bonanza free spins and bonus features

Sweet Bonanza free spins are the heart of the game. The base game pays through Pay Anywhere wins — 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the 6×5 grid — and tumbles, where winning symbols vanish and new ones drop in. That can be fun, but the big moments in Pragmatic Play's candy slot live in the bonus round, because that is the only place the multiplier bombs appear.

Triggering the round is simple: you need lollipops. Here is how a free spin round starts, step by step.

Four, five or six scatters give the same 10 free spins, and the paytable shows any lollipop payout on the trigger in the game's info panel, at your bet.

The free spins are played at the bet that triggered them. To see a trigger without spending anything, try the Sweet Bonanza demo in demo credits.

The round does not have to stop after 10 spins. During Sweet Bonanza free spins, 3 or more lollipops on a single spin add 5 more free spins. Note the lower bar: four lollipops start the feature, but only three are needed to extend it once you are inside. Every extra spin is another chance for bombs to land.

Multiplier bombs are the reason players chase the bonus. In the original Sweet Bonanza, colourful bombs worth 2x to 100x land only during free spins — never in the base game. A bomb on its own pays nothing; it waits for the tumble sequence to finish.

Here is the rule. When the tumbles on a free spin stop, the game adds up the values of all bombs on the screen, then multiplies the total win of that tumble sequence by the sum. If no win formed in the sequence, the bombs simply go to waste. Bombs are added, not multiplied by each other, so three bombs of 5x, 3x and 2x make 10x, not 30x.

How bombs differ across the series

Each version of the game keeps the free spins idea but changes the bombs, which changes how the round feels:

• Sweet Bonanza 1000 — bombs up to 1,000x that stay on the screen until the tumble sequence ends.
• Sweet Bonanza 2500 — bombs up to 2,500x, the highest bomb value in the series.
• Sweet Bonanza Super Scatter — bombs up to 100x that stay until the free spins end, plus Super Scatters paying 100x to 50,000x on the trigger.
• Sweet Rush Bonanza — no classic bombs: winning spots get marked and their multipliers double up to 128x, with marks kept during free spins.

Free spin counts in those versions are in each game's paytable — check them rather than assume they match the original.

The Ante Bet is a switch next to the spin button. Turn it on and each spin costs 1.25 times your base bet; in return the game raises the chance of landing the lollipops that trigger free spins. Think of the extra 25% as the price of more frequent bonus rounds.

If you play for the bonus, it can bring the round closer; if you enjoy the base game, it just makes every spin dearer. A session can still pass without a trigger.

The Sweet Bonanza Bonus Buy skips the wait. In the original game it costs 100× your bet and starts the free spins straight away — so at a C$1 bet the buy costs C$100. That is where the popular searches for the «sweet bonanza x100» or «sweet bonanza 100 demo» come from: players want to see what a hundred-times buy actually returns.

A bought round plays like a natural one, but it cannot promise a return: some pay more than the price, many pay less.

Try the buy in demo credits first

The free demo lets you press the buy with demo credits and watch a few rounds before you pay real money for one. Demo results do not carry over to real play.

Search for «sweet bonanza free spins no deposit» and you will find plenty of offers. Here is the honest part: those spins are casino promotions, not part of the game, which only has the bonus round triggered by lollipops. A casino's free spins are prepaid spins at a fixed stake, with its own rules.

What to check before you claim

• Wagering: how many times spin winnings must be played through.
• Maximum cashout: many free spin offers cap what you can withdraw from them.
• Which game: Sweet Bonanza, and which version.
• Spin value and expiry: the stake of each spin and how long you have to use them.
• Deposit and eligibility: whether a deposit is needed, and whether players in your province can claim the offer at all.

Rules differ by province — check what applies where you live; our pages are not intended for residents of Ontario. For C$ accounts, Interac and withdrawal times, see where to play Sweet Bonanza in Canada.
